newoutlookonlife 46 Posted March 30, 2013 I received my sleeve 3and a half months ago, My journey thus far has been uneventful. The past two months thought I have noticed that every 2-3 weeks I have an episode of abdominal cramping with many many bowel movements ending in loose bowel movements it has also been accompanied by vomiting. It usually lasts 2-3 hours and I can't stray that far from the bathroom. The last three times it occurred it was always in the morning. I can not link it with a certain food or any other type of trigger. Since my sleeve I do not have regular bowel movements at all. I am wondering if this is some sort of delayed dumping syndrome? This morning it started before I even had Breakfast so there was nothing in my stomach. I am wondering if I took a GI stimulant once or twice a week to remain more regular if this wouldn't happen anymore. It is almost as if the colon waits till it become completely full and then purges it all in a few hours. Has anyone Else had this experience? If so did you find anything that helped? OKSleever 144 Posted March 30, 2013 Hmmm, I would definitely talk to your surgeon about this. Probably fine, but better safe than sorry.

SleeveNZ 219 Posted March 30, 2013 I could have written this post exactly to every sentence. I have experienced the exact same problems for 2-3 weeks. Went to surgeon about it and he thinks its very uncommon and is stumped, running some blood tests and hopefully that might tell a story. Over the past 3 days since I saw my surgeon I have experienced 2 "gallbladder attacks" (I am pretty certain this is what I am experiencing). So I am thinking the two could be linked? Bowel problems are a sign of gallbladder disease. Gutted cos I dont want to go through another op!!! 1 Ms skinniness reacted to this
