Im 31/2 weeks post op and get pains?

Recommended Posts

Ok so I'm not almost at 4 weeks post but I'm having an issue when I eat. I get this really bad pain when I'm eating. Idk if its that I'm full or if the food does not agree. I don't feel sick I just get a sharp pain. Has anyone experienced this? I'm getting nervous because it happens with almost any protien I eat

try eating slower, smaller bites and chewing it really really well. I get pains from eating if i eat to fast, which sometimes seems slow to me but it's not slow enough. For a while i could not eat eggs, it make my stomach so grumbley and uncomfortable, but not sick feeling. So maybe there is a food that you can't tolerate yet. Hope it gets better soon!

my doc had me on full liquids as soon as i got home from hospital, and at the 3 week mark i could add soft foods, like eggs, shirmp, fish, moist chicken... So each doc is different in what you should be eating and when.

I just started solids this week. I'm going to try to eat slower and smaller bites. I'm hoping that works

I'm hoping that it's not when I eat any meat. I tried tuna today and it happened again. I'm just getting annoyed at eating the same things.

Try some refried Beans for Protein, you might tolerate it better than meats for the moment.

I am 10 weeks and I get that sharp pain every now and then when I eat to fast.
