KimmieMarie 17 Posted March 28, 2013 Post op day 6...had my drainage tube removed this morning. No pain at all today...just a little discomfort. I finally got that burst of energy that everyone is talking about. Getting ready to go flea market grazing. food intake is good...Im starting to recognize when I've eaten enough. It's funny that ive never really paid attention to when i was physically full. This is a lot of getting used to! I am currently starting to read a book callef 'Shrink Yourself' by Roger Gould. It provides a guide to stop emotional hunger. Thats really my biggest hurdle going forward. I really like the book so far. Its just now sinking in that I actually did it. I actually had the surgery! Hard to believe after wanting it for so long! To all you new sleevers...heres to a new life and lots of love for our bodies! 1 kari61 reacted to this
tnellp 12 Posted March 29, 2013 Thank you for the update, my surgery is scheduled for Monday & I'm getting really nervous. It's good to hear that the recovery is short.

Its all very worth it...there is light at the end of the tunnel. Found that out today! 1 tnellp reacted to this
