I am thinking about taking boxing lessons when I am completely healed up but I am hesitant to do so .I don't want to rupture my sleeve. , Has anyone have the same concerns or fears?or got a rupture in the same manor like karate, mma or even a good ol bar fight.

I entertained boxing as a fitness activity I could do after my surgery, still thinking about it. You get superior workouts and you could always have opponents stay away from your chest/stomach area while you heal, no?

As long as you're completely healed up, I was told there wouldn't be any chance of rupture or anything like that since my line of work, well, I fight people who don't want to comply, plus I mountain bike quite often and my concern was falling off my bike on a trail. doc said when I'm fully healed, there won't be any issues with doing anything.
