nightingale2u 42 Posted January 17, 2005 Who's Marcy? However she is... I think she should stay off of the scale too.

Rebeccalee 2 Posted January 17, 2005 Everyone is doing great. Even Darcy, who lost that 6 lbs. last week. I lost 2 since last Monday, but put it in my signature Thursday, which is my official weigh-in day, so no new loss to report today. I love the ticker tapes. They give such a nice visual of the weight loss.
nightingale2u 42 Posted January 17, 2005 *grumble* Stop it Becky Lee... I'm busy feeling sorry for myself. Congrats to Becky and Samy... WTG! Darcy
Zoe 6 Posted January 17, 2005 I lost 1/2 lb. Does that count? I'm kinda surprised I lost anything at all. One of my brothers is living with me for a while. His version of the food pyramid includes only cheesecake, frozen waffles, and pizza, so my refrigerator is stuffed with all that junk. Today I'm making a fill appointment -- I can eat a lot without restriction, except for hard-boiled eggs and canned tuna! (Go figure.)
lapbander081004 7 Posted January 17, 2005 Zoe. I took a PM Pole and everyone decided this time the 1/2 pound will count ...lol Of course it counts....Even zero weight change counts as a weight loss. Remember the old days when it was always going up...Not anymore(with the exception of a few weeks a year...we're entitled). Congraulations Zoe, Sammy, Betty and Becky... Great job. If anyone is interested in an Easter challenge We can run a thread on that. I'll try to do beter job with stats this time unless someone else wants to volunteer??? Since its really not a big eating holiday with the exceptioon of Easter Sunday maybe we can run it as a support to stay away from candy? ?? Any Ideas?? fine print:malted milk eggs that turn your mouth blue and pink don't count as forbidden food
Rebeccalee 2 Posted January 17, 2005 Does that mean I have to give up those malted milk eggs that turn your mouth blue and pink? Awww...... You know I'm not gonna let you get ahead of me, Greg. In the past, someone kept track of things by posting a list and each person cut and pasted it to include their own info. People who need help just ask. That worked really well. So .... I should eat all my candy now to be prepared for Easter? I wonder if those candy eggs are out yet....
lapbander081004 7 Posted January 17, 2005 Becky, You must have missed the fine print on my posting. Hmm go back and re-read.
nightingale2u 42 Posted January 17, 2005 If my husband brings home malted eggs... I am going to just cry! I LOOOOOVVVVVEEEE them! I could EASILY sit an d eat an entire bag! BTW... nice new avatars Mr. Greg and Miss Becky Lee! Darcy

Zoe 6 Posted January 17, 2005 Hey, Greg, I am definitely up for an Easter challenge, now that I've read the fine print. If we get a pass on malted milk eggs you can definitely include me! I'm finally getting another fill on Friday, after a month of procrastination, so maybe I'll be able to drop a few more lbs. before spring -- which hits around Memorial Day here, a couple of weeks before summer begins. Evil twin hijacks the thread: Alert, all malted milk fans: There's a killer recipe in Nigella Lawson's "Feast" cookbook with malted milk in the cake and buttercream frosting, with a ring of chocolate malted milk balls on top. Substitute pastel egg candies for something more festive. Evil twin dashes from the computer while Zoe beats her upside the head with a wooden spoon.
Iluvharleys 15 Posted January 17, 2005 Greg, I mentioned your avatar on another thread, and I can't do it twice, you will get too big of a head!
lapbander081004 7 Posted January 18, 2005 Betty, Darcy Harleynana Thank you. Betty I saw the other thread too and no I am not getting a big head. But Becky should...isn't she adorable???? Becky had a hard enough time sizing the one I had into this small area..lol But she did it. Think she used a pattern from one of her hats.
