I was told to increase my meals,so what i do is i set my timer every two hours to remind my self to eat,even when i'm not hungry,and i notice the the scale starting moving again,and when i was walking on my treadmill,i was not eating enough,so i stop it for a while and i find it's working,but i will start my walking again,but i will have to make sure i'm eating enough to burn,and also you could be losing inches that will not show on the scale,and my doctor told me to only weight my self once a week,and i know it's hard lol.. so just kt you are doing and make sure you are getting your Water in,and you will see the difference, your body is trying to catch up with the change,and once it figure out that your weight will start dropping again..so stay encourage and put that scale away because it may keep you angry at it ")

      Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
      What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
