sleevershan 0 Posted May 30, 2013 Hello! I am brand new here but I noticed I have the same goal weight of 150. I get sleeved on June 13 th. Any and all tips are appreciated! I am so excited just a bit nervous. I am starting at 210 weight and a fair goal weight would be 150. Of course I would love 140. I don't know what to expect or what is possible. mama 11 Posted June 7, 2013 Hi there. I was sleeved on 12/15/12 @ 210 lbs. on Memorial Day I reached my goal of 154. It is wonderful. I am shopping for my new clothes size 8-10. I have never worn less than a 12 since I was a teenager. Now I am joining a gym to tone up and working on finding the sweet spot to maintain. Good luck to you all! Stitcher0678 0 Posted July 18, 2013 New to the group, sleeved on July 2nd, going on my 3rd week and disappointed in weight loss. Weighed 207 day of surgery, down to 194 on the 16th, back up to 196 on the 18th! Not like I ate something really bad...had 6 small boiled shrimp, a Protein Shake and bowl of egg drop soup...don't see a calorie issue yet gained weight. Not exercising yet...not cleared till 6 weeks. I thought in the first few weeks I'd drop like a lead balloon but not so...worried.
Embrace 11 Posted September 18, 2014 Hi, I'm new to this group too. I'm a band to sleeve revision on July 2. Slower weight loss is expected. It comes off slower than slow for me (a half pound and a pound a week) and at first I was so discouraged but really needed a reality check. Yes, it's slow but it's coming off. My starting weight was 212 (5'2") and now at 181. I'm walking for exercise, eating per instructions, and sticking with support group. It's a process but living without the hope of losing weight for good is soooo much worse.
