Not really, chewing is something that you want to get used to. Most of us were guilty of gulping our food or eating too quickly. The sleeve is going to balk at swallowing large bites of food and you aren't going to feel well aftwards.

Think of a Sharpie marker. Thats the size of your new stomach. This helps me with the chewing and with limiting amounts! Hope it does you too.

Wow, the actual size of a Sharpie? If it were really that small, I think I would literally die. How can you eat anything with your stomach so thin and narrow?

That the average size. Some as small as a pen, some big as a highlighter.

Chewing is instinctive. You will find out, by experience, what works best for you.

Early on you need to be more aware as your stomach is healing.

Later you will have adapted and instinctively know what to do.

I don't think that much about it at all now. I probably still eat too fast compared to others, depending on what it is I'm eating. It works for me, though. You will discover what works for you.

I am chewing really well right now of course, cause I don't want to cause any leaks, but I'm thinking farther out...

Also, at what point were any of you able to eat more than 4oz at a time? I
