SleeveShelly 75 Posted March 24, 2013 Last night before I went to bed, I told myself today was going to be a new day and I was going to start out by getting back on track. Woke up this morning and ate a pecan roll. REALLY??? I had my surgery on September 12 and I have been pretty much the same weight the last three months because I keep eating crap I shouldn't. Ugh. I'm down about 64 lbs. Starting weight was 325.
bandicootc 91 Posted March 24, 2013 Try putting on your old clothes or look at old photos of yourself. You can find your motivation again! You can do this!! Get that crap out of your house. It's too tempting. Or say ok I can eat that after I have my Protein and most likely you won't want it.

Houston17 115 Posted March 24, 2013 Yes, get the junk out of the house! I know this will be the only way for me to be successful! I'm too weak!
Threetimesacharm 1,400 Posted March 24, 2013 Hey Sleeveshelly, I had my surgery on September 10 two days before you. Now I am sure that you got 85% of your stomach removed to be successful and reach your goal weight. That pecan roll will NOT help you get there. As the other poster said, get that crap out of your house, go back to eating low carb/high Protein, track your intake and drink your Water. As time goes on you will be able to eat more and it WILL be harder to lose the weight. Don't you want to be a success now? I know that you can do this, you have already lost some weight, great job, but you have a way to go. Trust me when you reach your goal weight you will be able to have a pecan roll, just not everyday. Positive vibes I am sending your way, tomorrow is a new day, seize it by the horns and get a grip on your eating, you can do this!!
