taylokat 180 Posted March 24, 2013 A dear friend of mine was just diagnosed with gastric cancer....I'm feeling so guilty for choosing to remove 85% of a healthy stomach....
Puja 148 Posted March 24, 2013 You are doing this for your health to PREVENT future problems (obesity can increase your chances for some cancers, by the way)! Your stomach may be healthy and cancer-free, but the rest of your body is not. Be thankful for taking that step towards your future and having the opportunity to reverse many years of damage! 2 Sadtosaygoodbye and Yoli3925 reacted to this

CBT 450 Posted March 24, 2013 I'm sorry for your friend's challenges. It's hard mot to personalize and compare and still, your path and your friend's path are not the same. Having your stomach won't change the path your friend is on. Gentle ease.
Geminidrive 389 Posted March 24, 2013 Sorry to hear about your friend. Unfortunalety we don't have control over life and you shouldn't feel guilty, just continue to be a good friend with your love and support.
