missmarie124 67 Posted March 23, 2013 Just curious how the March 8th sleevers are doing? I'm down 18 pounds since surgery and things are flowing really well! How's everyone else? What are some challenges?
Vermont Sleever 3 Posted March 24, 2013 Hi. I was sleeved 3/1 and I have lost 20... How have things been going for you?
Bowgirl 19 Posted March 24, 2013 I was sleeved March 6. I have lost 10 lbs. tomorrow will be day 18. I seem to be losing the weight from the top down. My face looks thinner and I don't have as much back fat. I worry that I will never be able to eat normal again. I don't mean the same amount but now when I eat it seems to get stuck. I am still eating things like yogurt, Soups, malt o meal.

sharonintx 1,275 Posted March 24, 2013 Got sleeve on March 8, down 20 lbs. I'm wondering what everyone else's challenges are as well. Here's mine: Protein - cannot manage to get enough liquids - I've never been a big drinker of Water etc. I'm making an effort but still don't get near enough. Tiredness - I'm tired all the time. I suspect more water would help. I went to a martial arts tournament with my kids yesterday, came home at 2 pm and slept on and off the rest of the day. Exercise - too tired. I know more exercise would help with the tiredness. There's probably more that I'm not thinking of just now but don't feel like putting forth the energy to think of them:) 2 d mixon and NicholeRain reacted to this
alanah 14 Posted March 24, 2013 I was sleeved March 8 as well! Yesterday my Fitbit scale had me confused with my husband ..... I weigh 222. Day of surgery I was 242 so 20 pounds since surgery. I'm exhausted though.... I do have issues getting in all my Protein and Water but each day I'm getting there. I have low Iron as well .... I'm sure my post op diet isn't helping with that! . I took an extra week off after we returned from vacation/surgery and have sent my daughter to daycare just so I could have a week to myself. . Hoping to get on the treadmill for some walking as the snow isn't melting anytime soon here!
