I'm 11 days out and on purée stage doing well with, I only eat half a cup. But never feel this full feeling everyone talks about, I'm satisfied. Is something wrong with me? I hear people saying a couple bites and they are done stuffed. I have had no nausea, or pain after eating so guess should be happy and down 21 pounds total so is it just bc not on regular foods yet?

Wait until you start eating regular foods again. That's when I started feeling full.

I am 5 months out and only ever got sick once. I have never gotten that stuffed feeling so far ever. Which is I guess actually kinda sucky because I have to pay really close attention to how much I eat to make sure I am not over eating. I can't complain through, I'm down 78 pounds and only have 25-30 to go. Just have to figure out how it's going to work for you. Good Luck

Sounds like you are right in the zone you are supposed to be in. My NUT always says eat until you are satisfied and not full so really you are doing it right if you are only getting satisfied.

Thanks hoping don't have to always measure, and the sleeve tells me after few bites.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
