Uh- oh discovered my slider

Pizza! The crust goes down way too easy. Had to get up and throw it away before I went crazy. This is not a good discovery. Especially since I think I am in my first stall.

Really?! I would think the crust would expand and make me feel sick! I'm not allowed pizza for 4 more months. Good to know!

I am scared of that!! Sometimes when I eat it seems like I could eat more, but I get scared and stop! I know what it feels like when I do eat too much and its awful!! They told it can take up 20 minutes for your brain to tell you that you are full!

I was hoping but no such luck. I went to a dinner/movie party and pizza was the entree otherwise I would have waited longer to try it. The only silver-lining is I was able to eat enough that no one questioned my eating.

Well... I just read in another conversation that consuming more calories could aid in weight loss! A certain person said that when taking in 500 calories the weight loss was nothing but, when increased intake to 1000 cal+ they had more of a weight loss. This week I went to Dietician and I was at a stall they recommended to eat more Protein and not skip meals. So I did... since Monday I am down 2.5 lbs!!

I think the key is everything in moderation right?

I ate a piece of pizza once but most days I'm on plan.. Just remember the sleeve is not going to reach out and slap that bad food out of our hands we have to be responsible ..:P

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
