ashbhey 125 Posted March 22, 2013 I'm 5 days post op. I'm on a full liquid diet for another week and 2 days. My husband is making an egg sandwich for himself, and grilled cheeses for our twin girls. I just want one bite. No worries, I'm not actually gonna take a bite.. But dang I want one! I need something else to "eat" (drink) to change things up. Any good things that aren't popsicles or broth or Protein Shakes? I just want some variety...

It helps, I've learned, if I cook the yummy foods.. Plus.. It gets me off the couch. Even if I'm not eating them.. Cooking them is helpful. I still dream of cream of wheat and Beans..lol
Patienlywtng on my Curves 73 Posted March 23, 2013 Are you able to have creamed Soups yet? I tried cream of shrimp today, strained of course, but it was tasty after I added lemon powder. It has bits of garlic in it that needs to be restrained. I digress...nevertheless the creamed soups have been my saving grace.
