dfdscott 53 Posted March 22, 2013 I am starting my preop diet tomorrow and I was given two choices. A. Follow the diet they give me which is Protein and low fat options. B. shake for morning shake for lunch and a high protein low fat for dinner. I am leaning towards the shakes because I read that you can lose more weight and it is just easier for me. Wanted to see others inputs on here that have either gone through it or are going through it now. Also I would liek to have some recommendations on what shakes are good and which are bad taste wise and quality and price. Thanks Everyone
SerendipityHappens 1,594 Posted March 22, 2013 I did the two shakes and a lean and green meal. It was not that difficult.
FeeIsMe2 508 Posted March 22, 2013 I did the two shakes and a lean and green meal. It was not that difficult. I did the same. Honestly the shakes are all about personal taste. I hated Bariatric Advantage and liked Unjury chocolate splendor and GNC whey Protein. It's all trial and error.

You can get it from costco if comes with 18 shakes for $25.00 or you can look it up on line. Amazon recently had a really good sell on the shake 12 for $7.00 I bought 4 boxes for $28.00 and 48 bottles of shakes. It is one of the best I have tasted. Smartcook 2 Posted March 22, 2013 My surgeon told me that the Coscto shakes will cause Constipation because they are egg based. He was right because I tried them as part of my preop diet. So good luck with those. I am staying with Isopure.< /p>
