jac1970 39 Posted March 22, 2013 I have seen people post stuff about this, so I tried it. Cauliflower rice! It was SO good and such a great rice-less side for the stir-fry I made tonight. I didn't feel deprived AT ALL!

Kristina J. 581 Posted March 22, 2013 Omg the best thing I learned today! I dry fry my tofu too!! Now I can have tofu veggies and rice like the old days ! Oh and I use Braggs liquid aminos for soy sauce. I saw your post somewhere about dry frying tofu. I want to try it, it sounded so yummy!! Will you repost again how you do it? I'm lazy and don't wanna go to my computer to search it out lol
No game 14,437 Posted March 22, 2013 Sure let me find it and cut and paste I'm lazy too! To dry fry, I cut up my tofu and slow fry it with no oil or butter on a non stick griddle or you can use a cast Iron pan. I fry it on a lower heat to get the moisture out and crisp it up. Tofu isn't really high in carbs, I buy mine at trader joes... Also after you dry fry it you can do different things with it...like marinade in anything (it is tasteless so will soak up any flavor) and stir fry with veggies I like it marinaded sometimes but I will also eat it just straight from the fridge cold after dry frying it

No game 14,437 Posted March 22, 2013 I hope your serious so I don't look like an ass But if you are in a regular store (Safeway or such) It's by the produce section in a refrigerated case I buy mine from trader Joes also in a refrigerated Case by the produce Alway buy extra firm tofu when dry frying, it's just a better texture. And when you take it out of the package pat it dry with a paper towel.
