Any Vanderbilt Sleevers?

Recommended Posts

Nice to see some Nashvillians!! I personally had my surgery at Centennial, but you really can't go wrong with Vanderbilt! :D

Nice to meet you. I dont see very many people from Vandy on here. It scares me sometimes... although I know Vandy is an Excellent hospital.

Jennlg noticed that you're almost 3 months post op. how are you doing with eating weight loss and exercise

I'm doing great! I will be 12 weeks tomorrow. I have lost 40 pounds so far and I work out an hour on the arc trainer about 4-5 days a week. :) I can eat anything, just small quantities.

Congratulations!!!!!!!!! How are you feeling?

I'm doing good, back to work this week.have been able to tolerate most of my soft foods, the reason i say most is because i had nausea and vomiting for the first time after trying a turkey sausage won't be trying that again for a while

Its normal to be nervous,I was a little nervous also but once i registered in i was fine because my family was there for support i felt plenty loved because i only expected my husband to be there but sisters aunts grandmother children and friends all popped up before i went back for the surgery, And it was over quickly.

You'll be just fine, let us know how you're doing when you feel up to it make sure you walk and take sips when on clear liquid and keep your compression stocking on when you're not moving around. ask for a patch to help with nausea they'll put it on before surgery

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
