MindyJ 0 Posted March 21, 2013 I was sleeved on March 6th and also had my gallbladder removed at the same time. My gallbladder actually burst during the surgery but the doctor was able to handle it well and I've had no complications from it. I'm recovering well. By the 6th day I started to feel pretty good. I'm 15 days out and had to come home from work today because the muscles near the incision where they removed my stomach are causing lots of pain as they stretch and heal. Just went back to work yesterday so probably pain from that. I'm on liquids until next Wednesday. Looking forward to chewing something again. I'm already down 27 lbs. 14 on 2 week pre op diet and 13 since the surgery. All the pain has been worth it already. Heating pad is helping with muscle healing.
