6 weeks post weight loss

Recommended Posts

Hi! I'm 6 weeks post op. my pre surgery weight was 273lbs and today I am 251lbs. Until last week I was 247lbs. How the hell did I put on weight? I'm not doing anything different :(

Is it possible to put on weight so early on?

I'm so worried and discouraged

Any one gone through the same?

Its normal... Its not so much a gain but more so a fluctuation. I go up and down 3-4 pounds once I hit an all time low. A week or so goes by and I break the mini stall, hit an all time new low and fluctuate 3-4 pounds and do it all over again.

I am approaching my 8 weeks post op and have gone through this 4 times... didnt start this pattern until end of second week.

I am 6 weeks out, too. My surgery weight was 241 and today I am 217. I lost 18 pounds the first 15 days then gained back 2 then lost those 2 then stalled for two weeks. Since then, I have lost a pound, went several days not losing, gained a pound back, lost it.......best I can tell, I am now losing 3 to 4 pounds a week. I am not concerned, I think this is normal. I have lost 24 pounds in 45 days and a total of 40 pounds including my pre-op loss. I am thrilled.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
