magpie30 187 Posted March 20, 2013 I had my 3 week appointment today, a week early as my doc will be gone next week. I was told to continue with the liquid diet another week, no surprise there, but that i could also add scrambled eggs and mashed potatoes with melted cheese. This was exciting news, so when i got home I made myself one egg with a pinch of cheese. I could only eat half of it. That was at 1 this afternoon, and i felt full until 7:30 this evening. Is this normal, or should i maybe hold off on the eggs for a little longer, even though i was told it was ok?? Just worried as i know we are supposed to eat about every 3-4 hours. giggles232000 56 Posted March 20, 2013 Thats the way I am I can only eat like 3-4 bites of something and I am 12 weeks out, theres really no normal in this everyone is diff I have a friend that looks at me funny everytime I say that cus she can eat more then that, so just listen to your body it will tell you and if thats all you can eat thats all you can eat, just try to find high Protein items so you get your protien in
Chaparra 85 Posted March 20, 2013 I found that when I add cheese to my scrambled egg, it keeps me full much longer than I should be, so I just omit the cheese.

MrsG 329 Posted March 20, 2013 I agree, chicken or beef can keep me full a lot longer. I think the more dense the Protein the longer I feel full. Which I guess is good!
