Help Guys! Is this gas?

Recommended Posts

I am having some stomach pains that started last night and I'm just really hoping that it is just gas. You ever try to jog and get a cramp just right of your belly button? that's what it feels like but it's only when I move. I've been taking gas x but it's not working. oh I am 7 days post op and have been doing tremendously well up until now. I went to target with my mom for like 3 hours yesterday so my bf says I just did to much yesterday and I need to just take it easy today but I'm getting nervous about this belly pain. I was not expecting to wake up with it. My doctors office is not open yet but I promise that I will call I just wanted to check with you guys first to see if you all experienced something similar. thank you!

I would double check with your Physician first! Fo me I had a pain above my belly button that was at my big suture site and it was because I drove too soon. It was soreness that was alleviated with rest and medication. But only Your physician can best advise you of your symptoms. Be persistent and get some professional advise.

Best of Luck to you.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
