bringiton 68 Posted March 19, 2013 I had French onion Soup tonight and seriously ate/drank the entire broth from the soup. We are talking Campbell's condensed soup. I guess I just feel guilty because I was able to finish it off. Anyone else know what I mean? I am 13 days post op btw. Sent from my iPhone using VST
JP69 116 Posted March 19, 2013 Probably because its liquid.liquids usually slide through the sleeve much easier than solid food. When you start regular food you will get full much quicker.
mark! 449 Posted March 19, 2013 Yup, liquid and pureed foods for me haven't caused any fullness. I did eat some ground beef and mashed potatoes today and got full quick, felt like crap and starting sliming, sucked pretty bad. I'm going to have to blend the meat up in to smaller pieces I suppose. bringiton 68 Posted March 19, 2013 Thank you! I'm new to this like so many others and I guess I assumed I'd feel the same "fullness" I felt two days out with just Water. That makes me feel better. Now if I can't just break this stall... Sent from my iPhone using VST
MrsG 329 Posted March 19, 2013 I agree, once you start eating food you will feel it. As for your stall, I'm sure that will break too when you start eating!
