ISleevedIt 380 Posted March 19, 2013 don't...I was like that also and hit a stall my second week and it broke recently. you body needs time to adjust to the drastic change. good luck
jacee 183 Posted March 19, 2013 Oh that sucks when you are doing all you can to make the scale go down. I am only 19 post op so by far no expert but I'm whining about "only" loosing 20 lol. I saw another girl on here tonite who had her surgery the same day as me that has lost 30 pounds. So we all are going to the same place (skinnyville LOL) we just may not all take the fastest route. It just depends on your starting weight, how much Water and Protein your able to get in etc. Plus stalling in the first cpl weeks is super common and frustrating. Its really hard not to weigh every day, but try just every cpl days and you may be more encouraged by those numbers. Think long term. In a month from now you will be so happy with your numbers I'm sure
IWannaBeHealthy 2 Posted March 19, 2013 So are you saying that you have lost 21 pounds? In one month? I am still awaiting my insurance approval but, I know that there is no way that I could ever lose 11 pounds or 21 pounds in one month.. Keep your head in the game.. You are doing amazing and I know in a couple weeks you are gonna be singing a different tune!!!! Good luck sweetie!
Amanda626 153 Posted March 19, 2013 U will be surprised how quick it falls off. We all lose at different speeds, but with the sleeve it's all alo faster then norm
JuliannaJ 83 Posted March 19, 2013 In my mind I justify my slower weight loss with giving my skin more time to shrink! Don't know if there is any science behind it but it makes me feel better, especially when my hubby is losing super fast (in my mind he is going to have a lot of loose skin! Lol). We went and saw my family and they were all oohing and ahhing over his "drastic" loss and barely said anything about mine even though I had not seen them since my surgery 2 months ago. Men suck...lol. Honestly though, it took me longer to gain all of this weight than it is going to be to lose it, even if it is just 1-2 lbs a week...that can be over 100 lbs in a year!
