Joe I 180 Posted March 18, 2013 I was sleeved on March 4th and I,m feeling good the only time I hurt is when I bend over with pants around my waist, if I pull the pants down the pain is much less. The pain is on the right side above the belly button. Is anyone else having this type of pain? I see my doc on Wednesday I'll be sure and ask him.

And at almost 2 weeks out it happened to me out of nowhere. I had to call md at night n Doc said the main stitching inside is right there. It's healing and as you're losing weight it's pulling too. It was horrible, I couldn't bend down or walk straight up. Take pain med and use heating pad. Was better 12 hours later. VSGKirk 855 Posted March 19, 2013 I was super tender and was very protective of my abdomen for at least a month (maybe 6 weeks?) - I wore suspenders under my shirts instead of a belt as well - way more comfortable!

I like the suspenders idea did you where shirts that didn't need to be tucked in?
makemyownluck 785 Posted March 19, 2013 I had pain like this when I had my GB out - it is normal, as veronica said. i also attest that a heating pad works wonders!
paula512 32 Posted March 19, 2013 I have the same pain. I'm 3 weeks out tomorrow. I just noticed today....as I got up from the couch that my stomach wasn't hurting as bad. I feel like I'm finally healing inside. 1 nanabanana reacted to this
schonvampyress 4 Posted March 19, 2013 I had surgery on 12/18. The pain does eventually go away. I was told it is from the stitches internally. Everything gets better day by day. I remember that pain and glad it finally went away.
VSGKirk 855 Posted March 19, 2013 I like the suspenders idea did you where shirts that didn't need to be tucked in? Yeah, so I can wear jeans to work, so I would wear jeans, a white undershirt (tucked in), the suspenders and then a nice long or short sleeved collared shirt over it all.
