My boobs go all over the place. I'm sure!

Sent from my iPhone using VST

Ah, now that I can understand. Already I feel like my chest has kind of deflated and I need some kind of magic, anti-gravity bra! LOL. My sister in law lost over 100 lbs. & now runs. She told me that she has to wear 3 sports bras, layered together, because of boob issues. You couldn't pay me to wear 3 bras at once!

I am sufficiently able to avoid zombies' date=' I can say with confidence. [/quote']

I can do that pre-sleeve. Remember, you don't need to be the fastest. You just need to avoid being the slowest!

Seriously, though - I can hustle along fairly quickly for a short distance and even perhaps jog a very short distance. I can walk several miles if it isn't tooooo hilly and make it up a1/4 mile hill at max 10% grade only a bit winded in the course of an otherwise fairly level 2 mile walk in my neighborhood. But I want so much more! Not running so much, but the stamina for long hikes in our local mountains, or to start really riding my bike again.

I so admire the progress I'm hearing about - tossing wood around and running a bit when the need hits are great steps toward the kind of health I want for myself!

great NSV! right now, I cannot run...seriously, it's one of the things that bothers me greatly...I actually fear that I couldn't even run if my life were being threatened...but it is quite inspirational and encouraging to hear your story...thanks

I had the exact same feeling before...that I couldn't run if my life depended on it & it scared me. It's something that I still struggle with. Now I can run a very short distance & so will you!

for boob issues while running try the Enell Sports Bra...I'm not going to lie it is ugly as sin but keeps my girls in place, about the only one I've found that does

I used to jog when I was in high school. My step mom and I would do 4 miles everyday. Now 10 years out of high school jogging has not even been on a list of things I could do. Until recently. After losing 145 pounds I have found that I can jog. Not the 4 miles I used to but I will get there again. My boobs do pay the price. I don't remember them hurting like they do now

Guys I highly recommend the couch to 5k program! It's great for anyone to get into the habit or running. It starts slow and you go at your own pace. I got such a great feeling of accomplishment for each little milestone. That was so helpful at times when the scale wasn't moving.

I just ran a 5k on St Patricks Day, it was actually EASY for me, I never imagined I'd be saying that!

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
