NewKristen 356 Posted March 22, 2013 My Surgeon's office recommended 3 psychiatrists in the area to do the eval. I called the first one and you could tell she was super flaky - very eccentric on the phone, wasn't sure when she could fit me in. Called the second one - she explained that it would require multiple visits to clear me. Called the third one and they couldn't fit me in for awhile. I chose door 1! She was flaky. And real weird! She only required one visit though. She seemed more interested in the reasons in chose her over the other two, that she was in doing my evaluation. However, she finally started. It was an hour long. She gave me a pre-Alzheimer's exam. She asked me a lot of questions about my eating/exercise patterns. She also told me that I am a self mutilator because I have my lip pierced. It was quite lovely.
