Help I'm in Atlanta!!!

Hi Hollie I certainly do not have a flat butt! I am a newbie in Atlanta. Just had first consultation. Who is your Doctor? I will have my surgery at Kennestone. How are you doing?

I've seen anecdotal evidence that suggests squats and lunges help with this issue. Flat butt is not one of my problems, though.

Being a guy with a flat butt aka "no butt" doesn't exactly excite me either when I look in the mirror naked. With pants on if I wear them too loose I get the droopy butt look too. In reality instead of an extended Tummy Tuck I guess I could have opted for a lower body lift that would lift things a bit. Surprisingly though the extended tummy tuck has helped lift a little though. In my opinion exercise is really the only real option for me at least. I think butt fat injection is silly and not really permanent so pointless in my opinion. Butt implants are also a no no - just too weird and too many risks of complications down the road. I never expect to have a dream butt that turns the ladies heads but I think exercise can make an improvement for me. Good luck on your journey for the perfect bubble butt. :)

Dont worry about not having a butt. You are a guy, you can easily get away with it. And, the right type of jeans will give you the optical illusion you need.

I had a very successful butt flap done with my LBL in December 2011. It healed beautifully. My surgeon is Dr. Sauceda in Monterrey Mexico. Prices are great and include clinic and hotel stay as well.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
