mariemadeline 12 Posted March 17, 2013 Hi everyone. I am over 1 year post-op, and I just found out I'm pregnant! I still have not gone to see my gyn or sleeve doc, but I am already having food aversions. How much should I be eating each day? I am currently at ~1200 calories a day and maintaining my weight. I don't want to gain more than 25 lbs during pregnancy. Any advice would be appreciated!
RAAinNH 113 Posted March 17, 2013 If you don't have a OBGYN already, it's time to find one and make your first appointment. You want the very best for your baby and now is the time to start getting expert advice! You will need to take prenatal Vitamins as well. Congratulations! I send you my best wishes for a happy and healthy pregnancy.
Roserie 302 Posted March 17, 2013 You only need about 300 extra calories in the first trimester, around 350 in the second and around 500 in the third. If it turns out to be multiples then you'll have to eat a bit more. That's just a ballpark amount to maintain your weight. Congrats!
june13sleever 223 Posted March 25, 2013 I have already gained 23 pounds and I am only 1/2 way there. How are you doing so far?
