chocolate covered strawberries for me. I dont even know how many I can take down because I havent pushed it that far but after 3' date=' I dont feel full. It cant be all that bad right? Its half fruit :)

And popcorn. I bring my own teeny tiny bag with me to the movies (has only happened once), put a little butter on it and when Im done, Im done.

I know Im weak, thats how I ended up where I ended up so I have to be realistic with treats. I always have to set a limit.

Oh and dont get me started on Cadbury Cream eggs. They are a little evil.[/quote']

Lindor truffles! I was really hoping they would make me really sick, and not tempt me no more.

Wheat Thins...Beware!!

..I was gonna say wheat thins. Bought a box and could NOT leave them alone. Really scared me because I believe I could probably eat them all in a day. I will never go there again

Okay, seriously. I just read this entire thread in one sitting (LOL). And I am now nauseous as hell.

Pre-op I loved them all.........now I eat a bit of chocolate (1-2 squares) now and again. And unbuttered popcorn (with various flavour shakers) every couple of weeks (a small bag, usually half-eaten)......and the rest would KILL me!

I eat a single serving (13 pieces) of sweet potato wheat thins with lunch most days for crunch and flavour.

There are probably lots of "sliders" in my repetoire, but I am giving a wide berth to the obviously sugar-laden trigger foods. Since I log everything in MFP, it's very painful to see how much of my daily alotment those foods lop off in 1 easy go! Or how many minutes of hard-sweating exercise it takes to work them off....

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
