jennaleigh1992 43 Posted March 16, 2013 Starting "regular foods" on Monday. I'm still real sacred to eat! What are some foods you starting eating that were healthy and easy on the stomach? NancyDec20 212 Posted March 16, 2013 shaved meat... turkey or chicken were my first.. they are fairly wet meats.. dry stuff goes down hard.. and string cheese is good.. tuna.. chicken.. salmon... Proteins like that are great for you and not high in calories either.. I can have pretty much anything I want.. but I stay away from fatty foods.. I read labels carefully.. low carbs.. fat free.. sugar free... once you read the labels.. you will find what is good and what isnt good for you.. my stomach tolerated those well.. small amts at first and weigh your food too.. that way you dont set yourself up to eat too much.. you wont be able to eat much really.. pay attention to what your stomach is telling you.. and trust me.. it will tell you when you are full or close to it.. best of luck to you on your new journey.. im post op dec 20th and down 66lbs and happy to be buying new clothes Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
