Jmbaker24 4 Posted March 16, 2013 I get hiccups everytime I eat? Anyone else have this problem or any suggestions on making it stop?
NikkiV1986 121 Posted March 16, 2013 Yupp!! I've been trying to eat more slowly. Also taking deep breaths seems to help.
SpaceDust 585 Posted March 16, 2013 I've also been told that hiccups can be a sign that you're full enough, so you might want to consider if that's a factor.

Shears2012 7 Posted March 17, 2013 Oh thank god!!! I thought I was the only one that has hiccups. Lol! My first set though was the first night after the surgery. And oh my goodness did they hurt!! The nurse didn't know what to do to stop them. Now I get them less and less
Oliver's Mom 258 Posted March 17, 2013 I get them when I have reached fullness. It depends on the food for me I think. The denser the Protein, the quicker I get full = hiccup!

MUGirl2012 15 Posted March 22, 2013 I have the same thing and I asked my surgeon today during my post op appt. He stated this is stomach spasms and its an indication of fullness, eating to fast or just over working your stomach.
