No game 14,437 Posted March 15, 2013 Kale or borecole is a form of cabbage (Brassica oleracea Acephala Group), with green or purple leaves, in which the central leaves do not form a head. It is considered to be closer to wild cabbage than most domesticated forms. The species Brassica oleracea contains a wide array of vegetables, including broccoli, cauliflower, collard greens, and brussels sprouts. The cultivar group Acephala also includes spring greens and collard greens, which are extremely similar genetically.

anniemay 150 Posted March 15, 2013 Ok I'm whispering this... ( what is kale? What does it look like?) Although people eat it - you would probably recognize it better as garish on a plate or the green/purple stuff they use to fill in all the spaces between containers on a salad bar! Looks purrrty that way.
