I had the gastric balloon before I was sleeved. I went through such a BAD episode of Constipation that I happily drink the milk of magnesia. Do NOT get to that point. Just bite the bullet!

I got some. Took it like a woman! Yes, it was gross, but not nearly as bad as yesterday.

Milk of Magnesia didn't really work for me, so I do Miralax every other day, per Dr.'s orders. Upping fluids seems to help, too! Good luck
