I am "sliming" aLOT. Just started vomiting the last few days. I am also 2 week out. I can't tolerate anything really... I can't say mine looks like baby poop though. Are you taking any oral medications?

make sure you drink a lot...the first day home, i vomitted a lot of brown stuff...i figure its dry blood from surgery. and had diarhea the first day home and seem to clear all that gunk out of my stomach and felt fine since then.....so maybe try to keep sipping Water to help clear out your system. i thought about how it took the barium swallow a few seconds to go thru your tiny tummy and i use that as a guideline for how much and often to sip. hope this helps and everything goes well for you.

I am hydrated and have no problems going to the bathroom to pee, it's just that when I have those episodes of vomiting ( I have had like 4) when ther is no clear slime liquid out of nowhere comes this gross.....I had the dry blood...that isn't it....could this be what is lining my thrat and the reason I can't tolerate anything?

Wen it cone out I am fine....but I know about 1/2 hour enforce it happens...I feel super gross in my throat.....thanks for all the responses..

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
