Can I add eggs to tuna during my puréed stage? In going to use light mayo and one hard boiled egg!

I don't know how that will go for you, maybe if you blend it really smooth, I had trouble that early on getting food in, and dense Protein like tuna still fills me up so fast. I suppose you could try it, go slow, and see how it feels. I would recommend not eating more than 1 teaspoon at a time, and waiting a minute or two between bites. Also, make it REALLY moist. Good luck!

Sure if you are on pureed you need to puree it in your food processor. Don't worry about the low fat this or that I never use low fat.

Yes, as long as you puree it. You will get lots of Protein with both the tuna and the egg.. Try adding a little plain greek yogurt instead of mayo and you will get even more protein! I usually just use the mayo, but I thought I'd pass that along because I've heard of other ppl doing it. :-)

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
