EYE CANDY 44 Posted March 12, 2013 Can I add eggs to tuna during my puréed stage? In going to use light mayo and one hard boiled egg!
PEvette 297 Posted March 12, 2013 yes, unless you make sure you really mash it you should be fine
920amy 409 Posted March 12, 2013 I don't know how that will go for you, maybe if you blend it really smooth, I had trouble that early on getting food in, and dense Protein like tuna still fills me up so fast. I suppose you could try it, go slow, and see how it feels. I would recommend not eating more than 1 teaspoon at a time, and waiting a minute or two between bites. Also, make it REALLY moist. Good luck!
Threetimesacharm 1,400 Posted March 12, 2013 Sure if you are on pureed you need to puree it in your food processor. Don't worry about the low fat this or that I never use low fat.
mom2five 292 Posted March 12, 2013 Yes, as long as you puree it. You will get lots of Protein with both the tuna and the egg.. Try adding a little plain greek yogurt instead of mayo and you will get even more protein! I usually just use the mayo, but I thought I'd pass that along because I've heard of other ppl doing it. :-)
