lookingforwardtothin 9 Posted March 12, 2013 That stuff is just poison. Are there any drinks without this stuff in them?

Are you okay with sucralose (Splenda is sucralose with some fillers)? If you are, see if you can get some of the Premier shakes from costco (and I hear Sam's Club carries them, too) They're tastier than most of the other ready to drink stuff, have 30g of Protein.< /p>
JennyBeth 127 Posted March 14, 2013 I do the Isopure ready to drink and they are aspartame free!
kczar 166 Posted March 15, 2013 Are you only wanting to use prepared drinks? Because you have a lot more options of you buy Protein Powder. I like about time brand because they have very few ingredients and use stevia as the sweetener. Plus it's got 24 grams of protein! Mix it with milk and you're at over 30 in one meal. Good luck. SpaceDust 585 Posted March 15, 2013 I actually currently use powder for my Breakfast shake 5 days a week (I'm not really close to my surgery yet, but I'm starting some changes to try and make things less impactful later). I do like to have some ready-to-drink hanging around, though, for those times when I'm really on the run. While I can and sometimes do use a shaker bottle to mix the powdered stuff, I really prefer to blend it with skim milk and half a banana or a little PB2 if I can. Jenah 20 Posted March 15, 2013 Yea, I am allergic to the stuff too.I get bad headaches that wont go away from it. I use Body Fortress whey isolate and Six Star whey Isolate. Of course, those are Protein powders. I really am not a fan of any artificial sweeteners but I have to use one, I use Splenda. Luckily more and more companies are using Splenda instead of Aspertame. I bought some Dasani flavor drops for my Water, and Great Value brand sports drink flavoring as well. I also bought some Edy's fruit bars and Jello brand sugar- free jello for after my surgery, which is next Tuesday! Good luck I read labels all the time now. SerendipityHappens 1,594 Posted March 15, 2013 I can only do aspartame sparingly so having it in my Protein Powder is a no-go. I stick with Jay Robb. 110 calories for 26 grams of high quality whey Protein isolate. Sweetened with stevia..Mixes easily by just stirring with a spoon. no grittiness. does not taste like feet.
