bekkamyhousekey 12 Posted March 12, 2013 Ladies, I am about one month post op and I have have been stalled for about 10 days - ever since I've been on my period. Do you stall like this every month?? It's killing me. I usually have my period 1-3 weeks long. I would HATE stalling for that long every-every other month.
Sassygirl06 962 Posted March 12, 2013 Hopefully after your weight loss you will become more regular with your cycle like I did. I used to never know when it was coming, or how long it would be...and now I know that every 30 days it will be here like clock work, and it will last 3.5-4 days. It is much better. As for the stalls...I noticed that I would stop losing weight, if not gain a pound or two right before my period, as well as be hugrier and able to eat more with it. Then within two days of my period being over I would start losing drastically....like 4-6 pounds within a week and a halfway time. It got to be where I would look forward to my period coming because I knew that after it was done I would lose a bunch. As for losing slowly....I am thankful for the slow weight loss that I did have because I am not battling loose skin now. Good luck to you, and try not to stress to much about these things...stress helps you hold onto weight more anyways.

NurseGrace 509 Posted March 14, 2013 I'm only about 2 months out but so far the only "stall" I have had was the one from the first month. It lasted nearly two and a half weeks too so brace yourself. Hopefully that won't happen to you but it might so get ready. I lived by the mantra "I cannot maintain THIS WEIGHT eating only 800 calories a day, it's not physically possible, this will pass" and sure enough, it DID pass, but it took time. I don't know why that happened but it seems to be pretty much the norm around here. This month I have not experienced a stall in weight loss having anything to do with my cycle. In fact, this month food is a real turn off/debby downer.
