Hello! the day will come when you feel "normal" again lol!

You're still swollen and just started your healing process. That's why it hurts. It will get better. No way to pin point when that will be, since we are different. By two months, I was able to drink and not feel uncomfortable. Also by then, I had adjusted and accepted my new way of life. To this day I still take small sips, and do not use a straw.
