txladybug1993 31 Posted March 11, 2013 I'm 3 1/2 weeks out. Pre-op I always craved pickles. During clear liquid before surgery I would drink the juice. Now I look in the fridge and see them and feel sick to my stomach. Funny how our cravings change. I have heard though, when you are released to soft foods you can eat the mushy insides of the pickle.
