My Hair loss has been substantial. I'd say at least over half is gone. I was lucky to have lots to start with however. My best tip- be emotionally prepared. It will effect *most WLS patients and if it's something you hope won't happen to you chances are- you will have significant hair loss. I'm sorry to say- its just a terrible side effect of surgery. I'm in my 7th month and still losing a good handful every day. Hopefully it will slow soon!

I'm 15 weeks post op and the hair has been falling out within the last week. I think part of it is my fault because I wasn't diligent enough with my Vitamins. I have very very curly hair, so no one can really tell. It's just nerve wracking when I see it all come out on my fingers in the shower and when I run my hands through it.

I've thought about cutting it short, but I think I'm just going to try and deal with it for as long as I can until it gets really noticeable. I would totally be fine with wearing a lace wig. I'm already looking at some on the internet lol
