ornursetab 1 Posted March 10, 2013 My name is Tabitha. I have not had my surgery just yet. I have done everything and been approved! I see my Dr for the last time before surgery on the 1st. I have a new friend that I've made through all of this and she will be sleeved in the morning. I'm 42, an OR nurse, wife and mother of 2. My husband and kids are not totally on board just yet. I had an open hysterectomy last year and no one likes to see the momma hurting. I'm doing this cause I'm tired of being fat, of having my back hurt all the time, of loosing my breath when I tie my shoes. You know things like that. I want to be around to grow old with my best friend/husband. I want to see grand kids one day and be able to play with them and enjoy them. Those types of reasons. I've always felt like there's a skinny girl in here somewhere. She's just always had trouble getting out. Right now I weigh 245 and I hope to loose about 100 pounds.
