Fiddleman 4,376 Posted March 10, 2013 Rediscovered these a few days ago and they are yummy. They are like a little treat almost. We usually buy them from costco, but I found some exotic Mexican variety at TJ yesterday. If you are far enough post op, these little guys are a really good snack.< /p>

TakeCareGirl 161 Posted March 10, 2013 I don't know if you're talking about the same thing but our TJ's has a little plastic carton of the assorted heirloom cherry tomatoes, different colors. They are really delicious!

Fiddleman 4,376 Posted March 10, 2013 So if a person were to eat a few of these outside of planned meals, would you consider it grazing? I think it is sort of a negative calorie food as the number of cals will be negated by the effort to eat and digest them. They seem to be "filling" also in that hunger recedes after eating them and I feel a little restriction. Your thoughts?
TheGamer 406 Posted March 10, 2013 I would consider it delicious. Because I'm still at that carnivore stage where it seems that all I eat for my meals is meat, I try to work veggies in at non-meat times. I wouldn't get to eat them otherwise. I suppose I've always looked at vegetables (prepared correctly or eaten raw with nothing like butter to up the calories) as a free food that I don't count, no matter when I eat it. But if you want to get technical, I suppose since it's vegetative matter, it is grazing >: D
Wls4me 163 Posted March 12, 2013 But if you want to get technical, I suppose since it's vegetative matter, it is grazing >: D Lol! I agree with the negative calories. Carrots would be the same I think. I think I would eat them as one of my Snacks and then be proud of myself for eating negative calories for a snack rather than the high calorie Snacks I used to eat.
