Nick'sMom 54 Posted April 13, 2013 You are welcome. I think us "slow" losers shy away for many reasons, sad, but true. I think there are more of us than we probably realize. My surgeon reminded me of the stats, 70% of excess weight in the first 12-18 months and it could take up to 2 years to reach goal. I hope it doesn't take me two years , but it is still faster than my year of nutritional planning and working out with a 15lb loss that I gained back on vacation. I am so thankful for my sleeve whether it takes me 12-24 months to reach goal! Well Said - Thank You for the Reminder! Just what I needed to hear
jv0904 3 Posted April 13, 2013 Neverminvd- got the ticker to work! Another thought, although I don't seem to be losing pounds lately, I can definitely notice a difference in my skin. Prior to surgery, my face was really breaking out. I think it was a combination of oily skin, work stress, surgery stress & eating too much junk food. Since surgery, my face has really cleared up. I guess my body likes the healthier eating!
Mastiff_mama 171 Posted April 13, 2013 By the way' date=' I created a ticker, but what do I have to do to get it to show when I post?[/quote'] If you're using an app on you phone it doesn't show
sligh1983 7 Posted April 13, 2013 That's really creepy. Even I don't monitor my own eating patterns that closely. If a complete stranger did' date=' I would start to wonder. CREEPY![/quote'] I agree and Amazon13 is a sad day in the neighborhood... You both need hugs and a life. 1 newgrandmother reacted to this

NewKristen 356 Posted April 13, 2013 I have lost 60 lbs since jan. 18. I am not sure if that is slow or not. I know many are losing much faster than me! However, my face is the thinnest it has been in years...and guess what? I don't have jowls of excess skin. And today I looked in the mirror at my bare back. I don't have fat rolls anymore...and no lose skin. So I am ok with the way I am losing. 2 VSG_me and Beautyandbeyond reacted to this

VSG_me 184 Posted April 14, 2013 33 lbs for me now since 1/29, I am losing about 1.5 to 2 lbs per week. So far I'm happy, just anxious to see what the next few months bring! I would love to feel comfortable in a pair of shorts this summer. I haven't slid these thighs into some shorts in YEARS! lol 3 Misty_eyes, newgrandmother and Chubarella reacted to this

Beautyandbeyond 227 Posted May 3, 2013 Can I just say this plateau is killing me??? Four weeks of the exact same weight. I wanna believe I'm building muscle mass but its so frustrating! How is everyone else doing? Honey I am right here with you. I stalled, lost 15 lbs and Im stalled again. My weight keeps migrating to 257.8...to the ounce! Lol. I've increased cardio and resistance and adjusted my calories up and down. What I keep telling myself is that Im not ingesting enough calories to maintain this weight so its got to come off...at some point 1 Bos123 reacted to this
