Almost 9 months..

since I got my band!!!! I love it. I am down 60 lbs and in a size 10!!! If anyone is thinking about getting the band done I would highly recommend it!! It has been such a great thing for me and I am feeling so great. Tomorrow for Thanksgiving I am doing a Turkey Trot and it is 6 miles!!!!!

I am going to be banded on Dec 18th and I love hearing success stories thanks for posting them

you weigh around the same as me within 20lbs at least have u had a lot of excess skin:)

Well, not really but, I have 3 kids and I had some excess skin from that (not much, more wrinkly than anything). But, I want to have a couple of more kids and then get a Tummy Tuck. But, the skin on my arms and legs looks really good. Congrats on the surgery-- I have loved it and I have been really aggressive with my fills. I think that is the key!

I'm 8 mo. out, down 99 pounds, and am so grateful for the lapband. I've got another 100 to go but, for the first time in my life, I feel that I can do it!! I thought my life was over but now I'm off most of my meds, no longer shopping for a wheelchair (size XWide), and have my life back!!
