sorry, next generation up, haha,

but mr. Gman doesn't look 65, but also Mr. OTR you need to now inhale after you exhale this promotes oxigen to your blood, a very good resource.

My old Pop's made us listen to the Beetles allot and took our records off to throw them on and prove he was hip, gee's. not that he could understand why the songs said what they did which was also better than never understanding the words at all, lol.

There's a rumor going around that doing 500 face scrunches a day will get rid of turkey neck. And if there's not a rumor, we need to start it.

Maybe there is somekind of neck wrap that will tighten the skin. If there isn't maybe we should go in business together and sell it?!?

I think if you use really lean turkey bacon wrapped around the neck, it will shrink the skin. If not, at least you will smell really good to the neighborhood dogs.

There's a rumor that Ron Popeil of Ronco has come up with a stapler/cutter similar to the one that they use for the sleeve operation to use on the back of your neck to cure turkey neck, the Pocket Surgeon. Your friend pulls your skin back like a hound dog pup and then... chuchink..slice, chuchink...slice,chuchink...slice,...done.

Trouble is it's only good for long haired women and guys who wear mullets.

So I guess that's not going to work on my deflated beach ball of a belly.

....oops...there I go oversharing again.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
