MrsG 329 Posted March 7, 2013 Prevacid comes as over the counter 15mg and prescription which is 30mg. I would say 2 tablets would be enough. I'm on protonix which is 40mg. DrmBig4Evr 152 Posted March 7, 2013 I'm asking my doc about it tomorrow. He gave me a script that said 20mg once in the morning and once at night. That is over the counter though, but it is time released and I read something somewhere that this wasn't good because then you can't crush them?? idk, I'll clarify tomorrow and let you know.
