NeenBand 7 Posted November 22, 2006 Hey all, I had my second fill last week. I have restriction for the first time and still getting use to it. Before it was as if I had'nt a band...now it's a whole different story!! I was hungry this morning and ate too fast. I had my first PB. AT first I felt a hrrible pressure and could feel the food trying to move into the stomach. It came in waves and I would burp, find a second of relief until it tried again. Finally, up it came. Now, what is the protocol after a PB? Anything I need to do? Thank you.
Kat817 19 Posted November 22, 2006 Go onto liquids for 24 hours, and then try slowly with soft foods, to see if it is better. You don't want to set up a cycle of irritating the stomach and causing swelling, which will lead to another PB...thus the cycle. Several on here swear by Aloe Vera juice to sooth and heal the stomach. I hope you feel better soon. My 2nd fill got me good restriction too---I have not had to have another since July!!! Hope you are as lucky! Kat
