I wish you luck. I kind of skipped right over the puréed stage. Really hated the texture of puréed food and tolerated solids fine so my doc said eat what you can tolerate. So glad he did cause I wouldn't have survived puréed meat. Bleck!

I just started my pureed food yesterday I made the Baked Ricotta last night and it was yummy I haven't tried these other ones yet but they looked good to me.

Baked Ricotta

8 oz of Ricotta cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan

1 Large Egg

1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup Marinara Sauce

1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella

Mix ricotta cheese, parmesan, beaten egg, seasoning together and place in a oven proof dish. ( I used a cupcake pan) Pour marinara on top and top with mozzarella cheese. Bake in the oven @450 for 20-25 mins or nuke it until hot and bubbly.

Parmesan Garlic Cauliflower (tastes a lot like mashed potatoes, but very low carb!)

1 bag of frozen cauliflower florets

1 tsp butter/margarine

1 tsp salt

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/4 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup of parmesan cheese

1/4 cup of milk

Egg salad - couple eggs, 1 tsp of mayo, 1/2 tsp of spicy brown mustard, salt & pepper - puree until smooth

Buffalo chicken - can of chicken, 1 tbsp blue cheese crumbles, 2 tbsp ranch dressing, 1 tsp. of buffalo sauce, salt & pepper - puree until smooth - MY PERSONAL FAVORITE!

Pintos and cheese - 1 can of Pintos with onion - puree until smooth, pour into dish and cover with 2 tbsp. of shredded cheddar cheese - microwave for 90 seconds or until heated through and bubbly - stir well to combine the cheese - optional: add a bit of enchilada sauce if you are looking for more flavor.

Pulled pork with barbecue sauce and Greek yogurt
