I'm doomed.

If that's your doctor, I think losing your passport is the Universe's way of telling you something! He' gonna make a man out of you! With just a step to the left.

I am so sorry. :(

I know it's probably not helpful, but just in case... have you checked the bags/suitcases/toiletries bag you used last? Did you check in your dresser drawers? Under your mattress? Old purses? Maybe try taking a warm bath or shower, then try looking again...

I do wish you luck!

Hallelujah!

I will give it a shot and try to get a rush replacement and hope that somehow the universe aligns in my favor.

I know right? I'm going to wake up with some extra tackle between my legs.

Twice I've lost my passport. The first time I called the consulate here and made an appointment to get a replacement so I could go back to Canada. Then my husband came home from work and I told him that I had looked everywhere but that I wanted him to look as though I hadn't. He did and there it was in my purse - in the zippered section that I don't normally use where I had put it for safety so it wouldn't get lost. The second time, I lost the passport, the birth certificate, the green card, the driver's license. Discovered they were missing at Christmas. Where did I find them? Several months later found them in the zippered section of my summer purse where I put them for safety on my last trip across the border - after I"d paid the $500 for a replacement green card which of course was non--refundable. So my suggestion to you is get out every purse you own and go through the zippered pockets.

Thank you Lander!

This is the type of thing I'm infamous for... losing things in plain sight. But my hubs and I tore up every purse, tote, and suitcase as well as every "important" filing area... we're at a loss. What a pain in the ass!

One of the people that came back with me didn't have theirs and it was fine. Email Nina for advice, but you should be fine with license and birth certificate. Good luck!

Thank you guys, I was freaking! (well, having a lost or stolen passport is still worrisome, I admit, and I will be filing a report). Glad that all the money on plane tickets and surgery is not wasted though!

Ok, Relax & Breath! Think of the last time you used it. Could it be in an old purse? Piece of luggage? Where would you normally keep it? Did you travel with someone? I have faith, you will find it.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
