Alikfield 48 Posted March 6, 2013 Just out of curiosity... Those of you with big losses and who watch carbs... How many grams do you allow yourself per day?
lilbearzmom 584 Posted March 6, 2013 I don't count carbs, but I do limit them. Mainly naturally, since I do stick to the "protein first" rule 95% of the time. The other day I had two little wedges of pita bread with skordalia (potato) dip/spread before I ate my low carb greek salad with grilled chicken. So, I'm not perfect by any means, but I am happy with my loss: 47 lbs since surgery, 77 altogether. -Kendra

SMO 193 Posted March 6, 2013 My NUT said at 600 calories I can have 40. I am doing 20-30. I cannot function on less than 20. My brain stops working. But they are nasty little devils and for me, eating carbs makes me hungry for carbs so I have to strike a balance. My balance seems to be about 25.
